"The Angling Trust has resumed recruitment of Phase 1 Volunteer Bailiffs to help in tackling illegal fishing and poaching. We'll be taking on 20 volunteers in each of our six enforcement regions and successful applicants will be trained by policing and enforcement professionals to keep watch on fisheries and report incidents to the EA and Police."

Bit more success for Colin this timeColin Etherington sent in this great report last night:

"Hi Barry - After a difficult day on Wednesday with only a chub to show for my efforts tonight was a different story! Within 40 minutes of an evening session I had two barbel 9lb 4oz and 4lb 4oz! Both fish falling to lobs. I was tacking Haywards Heath and District Angling Society controlled section of the Sussex Ouse at the Sloop Weir Pool."

"The Sussex Ouse looked perfect today but sadly I only got one bite. The only bait that worked today was lob worms. Tough but enjoyable!!"

We are currently constructing an advert to go in publications for the start of the new season, please could you post catch pictures in the comments below so we can use these for the advert. These can be any fish species, and we would love to be able to showcase the variety of fishing on offer on our waters.
