HAYWARDS HEATH & DISTRICT
ANGLING SOCIETY (HHDAS)

HHDAS is a society founded in 1912, and we offer anglers a variety of quality fishing venues deep in the heart of the Mid Sussex countryside.
Several stretches of the beautiful Sussex Ouse river over a 9 mile length, woodland ponds and an estate lake in the beautiful countryside of Sussex both for pleasure fishing and match angling.

Everyone is welcome

As already advised to our members, HHDAS (in conjunction with Copthorne and District Angling Society with whom agreement to merge has been approved by both clubs) is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Ardingly Activity Centre to take over exclusive fishing rights to Ardingly Reservoir with effect from August 1st.
This collaboration marks a new chapter in the reservoir’s management, ensuring that local and visiting anglers continue to enjoy high-quality fishing in a well-maintained and accessible environment. The reservoir has long been a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts, and the partnership aims to enhance the angling experience while preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of the site.
As part of the new arrangement, day tickets remain available from the Activities Centre and will shortly be available online directly through HHDAS. Arrangements for existing Ardingly Season ticket holders remain unchanged until next renewal. The society brings a wealth of experience and a strong community focus to the role, making them an ideal partner to support the ongoing development of fishing at the reservoir. New season tickets, including both daytime coarse and a night fishing option are available online through HHDAS (link below) Committed to Community and Conservation
Both Ardingly Activity Centre and HHDAS share a commitment to responsible access, environmental stewardship, and promoting outdoor recreation. Together, we aim to support local anglers, introduce more people to fishing, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the site.
